Nathan Hulsey
Managing Partner
Nathan Hulsey is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Hulsey Richmond Ventures, investing both directly in promising companies and as a limited partner in select venture capital and private equity funds. He takes a thoughtful, long-term approach to each investment, focusing on building and expanding his network. In addition to his role at Hulsey Richmond Ventures, Nathan serves as a leader in Deloitte’s Cybersecurity practice. His career spans more than 14 years in information technology, following seven years in finance with a focus on banking and investments. Based in Tennessee, Nathan is active in local initiatives and church activities. He’s a regular at his children’s sporting events and theatre performances, enjoys traveling with his family, and loves attending sporting events together – especially when cheering on University of Kentucky athletics.
Rob Richmond
Managing Partner
Rob Richmond is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Hulsey Richmond Ventures, a new venture capital firm on a mission to back bold ideas and the people who bring them to life. With more than 30 years in information technology, Rob knows what it takes to build, secure, and scale complex systems. He is currently a Principal at AHEAD, where he helps Fortune 500 companies solve their toughest technology challenges. Previously, he spent 23 years at Deloitte, serving as Global Director of Network Security and leading global initiatives to safeguard critical systems and drive innovation. A long-time community contributor, Rob has served on nonprofit boards for nearly a decade. Outside of work, he’s at home in the Colorado outdoors—skiing, hiking, and exploring the state’s mountains and trails. He’s driven by a simple goal: to help the next generation of founders build transformative companies and shape the future they imagine.
